The Paul Samiec´s own mood variations in context of his piano works

Abstract:

Anotace Diplomová práce pojednává o díle žijícího skladatele Pavla Samiece a směrech, kterými se doposud vydal. První kapitola stručně nastiňuje jeho život a studium. Druhá kapitola mapuje dosavadní tvorbu a zdroje, jež ho inspirovaly. Poslední kapitola je stěžejním materiálem této práce. Představuje klavírní dílo ve všech podobách. Těžištěm se pak stává dílo obsažené v samotném názvu práce: „Variace na vlastní nálady“. To je analyzováno z formového a interpretačního hlediska. V závěru kapitoly je přidáno shrnutí, zaměřené na kompoziční prvky v rámci klavírní faktury s ohledem na interpretaci.

Abstract:

Annotation Diploma thesis deals with the work of contemporary composer Paul Samiec and his artistic directions. The first chapter briefly outlines his life and studies, the second chapter describes the current development and resources that inspired him. The last chapter is a key material of this thesis. It features piano works in all forms. The focus is then centered on the work contained in the very title of thesis: “The own mood variations”. It is analyzed both in terms of formal and interpretation ways. At the end of the chapter there is a summary focused on the composition elements of the piano texture with regard to interpretation.
