Reconstructive 3D vizualization of the former settlement - a case study of Přísečnice town

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vytvořením rekonstrukčního 3D modelu Přísečnice a okolí. První část se věnuje problematice důvodů zániku sídel a Přísečnice. Ve druhé je vymezení území, jeho poloha a geografická charakteristika. Nejdůležitější část práce se zabývá 3D modelováním a jeho významu v geografickém výzkumu. V teoretické části je vytvořen přehled metod používaných při modelování. Praktická část se zaměřuje na tvorbu modelů (model zástavby a historický a současný model krajiny) vybranými metodami. Nakonec je zhodnocen význam 3D modelování v geografickém výzkumu.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with creating reconstructive 3D model of Přísečnice town and its environs. The first part focuses on reasons of settlement and Přísečnice extinction. In the second part there is the delimitation of the study region, its location and geographical characteristic. The main part of this thesis deals with 3D modeling and its significance in geographical research. In the theoretical section the attention is devoted to overview of methods, which are applied in 3D modeling. The practical section aims at creation of models (model of housing development and historical and contemporary landscape model) with selected methods. At the end the significance of 3D modeling in geographical research is evaluated.
