Psychoactive Substances and Their Impact on the Health and Work Quality of Managers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice a vlivu drog na kvalitu práce a zdraví manažera. V první části bude čtenář obeznámen s jednotlivými druhy a účinky drog, jakož i s formami a řešením závislosti. Následná část se skládá z kvantitativního šetření, jehož se zúčastnili respondenti z řad vyššího managementu, a jeho analýzou. Závěrečná část vychází z nasbíraných dat a předkládá možnosti řešení, které by mohly vést ke snížení či vymizení konzumace drog u lidí pracujících na vysokých pozicích.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of drug impact on the work quality and health of a manager. In the first part, the reader will be acquainted with individual types and effects of drugs, as well as with the forms of and solutions to addiction. The following part includes a quantitative survey conducted with respondents from higher management and its analysis. The final part uses the collected data and presents possible solutions which might lead to the reduction or elimination of drug consumption among people who work in high-level positions.
