Remediation of the gastronomic industry during the coronavirus pandemic

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá remediací gastronomického průmyslu v době koronavirové pandemie. Reflektuje akceleraci změn v oblasti marketingu a komunikace se zákazníky, k nimž dochází v roce 2020 vlivem protiepidemiologických opatření. Gastronomický průmysl, stejně jako jiná odvětví služeb a kultury, musel na novou situaci reagovat přechodem na komunikaci se zákazníky primárně prostřednictvím informačních technologií. Práce si klade za cíl dokumentovat tento transformační proces na několika případových studiích z lokální gastronomické sféry. Teoretický rámec bude založen na teorii remediace, průmyslu 4.0 a na shromážděných informacích o případech dobré praxe i statistických ukazatelích chování firem i klientů jak z domácího, tak z mezinárodního prostředí.

Abstract:

The master thesis deals with the remediation of the gastronomic industry during the coronavirus pandemic. It reflects the acceleration of changes in marketing and communication with customers that will occur in 2020 due to antiepidemiological measures. The gastronomic industry, as well as other service and culture industries, had to respond to the new situation by switching to communication with customers, the primary focus of information technology. The work aims to document this transformation process on several case studies from the local gastronomic sphere. The theoretical framework will be based on the theory of remediation, industry 4.0 and on the information gathered on good results and statistical indicators of the behavior of companies and clients from both domestic and international backgrounds.
