Influences of the Middle East and North Africa on Etruscan art in orientalizing period
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis is focused on analysis of selected elements of the Etruscan material culture. These elements are compared with analogical motifs in Near Eastern (Syro-Palestinian) and North African (Carthaginian) material culture. Práca je zameraná na analýzu vybraných prvkov etruskej materiálnej kultúry. Tieto prvky sú porovnávané s analogickými vzormi umenia Blízkeho východu (sýrsko-palestínska oblasť) a severnej Afriky (Kartágo). Práca vyčleňuje najtypickejšie elementy orientalizujúceho obdobia a hľadá ich demonštráciu v etruskej hrobovej materiálnej kultúre.
