Counter-insurgency strategies in the context of the Arab-Israeli wars in the last decade - causes, dynamics, solutions, case studies

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na popis a analýzu protipovstalecké strategie ze strany Izraele proti Hamásu, respektive jak jsou protipovstalecké strategie a metody uplatňovány v operacích, které po sobě chronologicky následují. Data a informace získané z relevantních zdrojů jsou použity ke srovnání společných a rozdílných bodů operací a k jejím výsledným závěrům. Je zde rozebrána i analýza vztahů, a to od první operace, která se odehrála na přelomu let 2008 a 2009 až skoro do současnosti, tedy do posledního konfliktu v roce 2021.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis focuses on the description and analysis of the counterinsurgency strategy by Israel against Hamas, respectively how counterinsurgency strategies and methods are applied in operations that follow each other chronologically. Data and information obtained from relevant sources are used to compare common and different points of operations and to their conclusions. The analysis of relations is also analyzed here, from the first operation, which took place at the turn of 2008 and 2009, to almost the present, when the last conflict took place in 2021.
