The Weight of Silence and American Stranger as a Phenomenon. Analysis of Style in Jim Jarmusch's Early Work
Abstract:
Jim Jarmusch je legendou americké nezávislé kinematografie. Tato práce analyzuje specifické tvůrčí principy jeho rané tvorby na základě rozboru dvou snímků z tohoto období pocházejících: Mimo zákon (Down by Law) a Podivnější než ráj (Stranger than Paradise).
Abstract:
Jim Jarmusch is a legend of independent american cinema. This thesis analyses specific creative principles of his early work by breaking down two of his movies from the given time: Down by Law and Stranger than Paradise.
