Life style of a current family and its influence on a child ability to socialize

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma „Životní styl současné rodiny a jeho vliv na socializaci dítěte“sleduje vnímání životního stylu vlastní rodiny dítětem na prahu adolescence ve věku 14 – 15 let prostřednictvím utváření jeho hodnotové hierarchie. Současně sleduje, do jaké míry tento způsob vnímání rodinného prostředí předurčuje jeho schopnost zapojení se do širší společnosti, tedy i mimo rodinu.Teoretická část jmenuje a popisuje proměnné životního stylu rodin i celé společnosti, které jej nějakým způsobem determinují. Současně sleduje postavení dítěte v rodině v kontextu proměn preferencí hodnot uplatňovaných v rámci životního stylu.V empirické části bakalářské práce jsou popsány výsledky kvalitativního průzkumu, který byl uskutečněn prostřednictvím řízených rozhovorů s vybraným vzorkem respondentů (dětí ve věku 14 – 15 let). Cílem rozhovorů bylo zmapovat korelaci mezi převládající hodnotovou preferencí předem dané baterie hodnot s vnímáním životního stylu vlastních rodin ve vztahu k socializaci respondentů.

Abstract:

This bachelor degree thesis covers the topic of „Life style of a current family and its influence on a child’s ability to socialize“. Its aim is to observe a life style of one’s family through the perception of a child of 14 – 15 years of age and the formation of the hierarchy of its values. At the same time the thesis is capturing how such ways of perception of a family environment is shaping the child’s ability of integration into larger social groups beyond his family.The theoretical part is listing and describing the variable aspects of the life styles of families and society as a whole, which are believed to be determining it. At the same time the position of the child in a family is analyzed in the context of changes of preferred values and their application within a life-style.In the empirical part of the thesis are the results of a qualitative research, which was conducted through guided interviews with a selected group of respondents (children of age of 14 – 15). The aim of these interviews was to map the correlation between the leading preference of predefined scope of values with the perception of life styles of their own families and their effect on the respondents’ ability to socialize.
