Elements of Geometry in folk art and possible uses in the teaching of mathematics at primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na prvky lidového umění, jako jsou lidové motivy, dečky, budovy apod. Využití těchto prvků ve sbírce se slovními úlohami k zvýšení motivace žáků na prvním stupni o objevování geometrických útvarů a jejich vlastností. Inspirovala jsem se v učebnicích a pracovních sešitech zpracovaných profesorem Milanem Hejným a kolektivem. Pracovní list je určen pro žáky primárního vzdělávání, konkrétně se týká učiva třetí a čtvrté třídy.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with elements of folk art such as folk motifs, blankets, buildings and more. Using these elements in a collection of tasks to increase childrens' in primary education motivation to discover geometric formations and their properties. I was inspired by the textbooks and workbooks prepared by Professor Milan Hejny and the collegues. The worksheet is intended for children of primary education, namely third and fourth grade subjects.
