The relationship of local people to refugees from Ukraine

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zjistit, jaká je míra subjektivního vnímání obyvatel Rožmitálu pod Třemšínem a jeho okolních vesnic, v okamžiku, kdy by měl být v Rožmitále vybudován uprchlický tábor a identifikovat faktory, které toto vnímání ovlivňují. V práci jsou využity metody obsahové analýzy a terénního šetření pro průzkum cílové lokality. Sběr dat je realizován formou dotazníkového šetření mezi obyvateli Rožmitálu pod Třemšínem a jeho blízkého okolí. Výzkum obsahuje popis modelového území a výsledky dotazníku seřazené do tematických okruhů. Dotazník vyplnilo 197 respondentů z Rožmitálu pod Třemšínem. Z výsledků je zřejmé, že obyvatelé Rožmitálu nemají o vybudování uprchlického tábora zájem, mnohdy se na tábory dívají negativně. Naproti tomu byla zjištěna vysoká vlna solidarity související s materiální a finanční pomocí. Někteří obyvatelé mají rovněž zájem angažovat se jako dobrovolník.

Abstract:

The aim of the work is to find out the level of subjective perception of the inhabitants of Rožmitál pod Třemšín and its surrounding villages, at the moment when a refugee camp should be built in Rožmitál and identify the camp and identify the factor. The work uses the methods of content analysis and field investigation to explore the target location. Data collection is carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey among residents of Rožmitál near Třemšín and its immediate surroundings. The research includes a description of the model area and the results of the questionnaire sorted into thematic areas. 197 respondents from Rožmitál pod Třemšín filled out the questionnaire. It is clear from the results that the residents of Rožmitál are not interested in building a refugee camp, they often view the camps negatively. In contrast, a high wave of solidarity related to material and financial aid was detected. Some residents are also interested in volunteering.
