This thesis is aimed at translation of professional text and following analysis of translatological problems that emerged during translation. Cílem této práce je překlad odborného textu a následná analýza translatologických problému při překladu. Teoretická část, která následuje po krátkém úvodu má za úkol stručně popsat klíčové znaky odborného textu. V praktické části je uveden překlad výchozího textu z anglického jazyka do českého. Práce končí analýzou textu a komentářem k translatologickým problémům.
