Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou Infrastruktury veřejného klíče (PKI), certifikáty a certifikačními autoritami. Pro získání přehledu je zahrnuta kapitola o kryptografii včetně jejího vývoje v čase a analýzy tří důležitých šifer pro představu o vývoji a důležitosti šifer v této problematice. V následující části jsou rozebrány funkční principy certifikačních autorit, možnostech nastavení a certifikátů podle standardu x509. Dále jsou diskutovány možnosti využití PKI v rámci podniku, balíku MS Office a webového protokolu TLS. Poslední část se zabývá rozhodováním mezi budováním vlastní certifikační autority a nakoupením certifikátů od stávajících certifikačních autorit, následovaný komentovanou implementací třech dostupných certifikačních autorit v různých operačních systémech.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deal with Public Key Infrastructure issue, certificates and certification authorities. At the beginning there is included chapter about cryptography for better understanding including historical evolution of ciphers and analysis of three important ciphers. In the next chapter are discussed possibilities and principles of certification authorities, certificates and x509 standard. Following chapter discuss practical use of certificates in business, MS Office aplications and web communication throught TLS protocol. Final part consist of pros and cons of building own certification authority and describes implementation of three avaible certification authorities in different operating systems, including user experience.
