Bakalářská práce se zabývá srovnáním zvukové stránky anglického jazyka užívaného v Ghaně se standardní britskou angličtinou. V rámci tohoto tématu určuje historii angličtiny na území dnešní Ghany k jasnějšímu představení důležitosti anglického jazyka v této zemi. Práce obsahuje základní fakta z oborů fonetiky a fonologie.
