Modern mobile data technology in the Czech telecommunications environment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce stručně popisuje historický vývoj mobilních sítí, které řadí do jednotlivých vývojových generací. Důraz je kladen na popis technologií používaných v České republice k datovým přenosům. Mobilní datové sítě jsou popsány z hlediska principů fungování, parametrů a situace na území našeho státu. V závěrečné srovnávací studii čtenář nalezne řešení zvoleného rozhodovacího problému pomocí metod vícekriteriálního rozhodování.

Abstract:

This dissertation briefly describes historical evolution of mobile networks and divides them into different generations based on their development. Important part of this work is the description of technologies used for data transfers in the Czech Republic. Mobile data networks are explained from the stand point of operation, parameters and the current situation in our country. In the final part of the comparative study, the reader will find a solution to a chosen decision making problem with the help of multi-criteria decision making.
