Anotácia:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá pojetí čínských žen v knihách Women in new China (1949) a Chinese Women in 1950 (1950). V první části popisuje postavení čínských žen v 19. a první polovině 20. st. až do padesátých let dvacátého století s obzvláštním zřetelem na roli Komunistické strany Číny v tomto procesu. V druhé části popisuje jak obě knihy Women in new China (1949) a Chinese Women in 1950 (1950) líčí emancipaci čínských žen a jejich postavení, a v závěru analyzuje obraz, který o ženách knihy podávají.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis examines the approach to Chinese women in "Women in new China" (1949) and "Chinese Women“ (1950). The first part describes the status of women in the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century up until the 1950s with particular regard to the role of the Communist Party of China in the process. In the second part, the thesis describes how both books depict the emancipation of Chinese women and their status and in the conclusion analyses the way women are presented in the books.
