Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá rodinným volným časem a to především v kontextu zdravého životního stylu. Práce je teoreticko-empirického charakteru. V teoretické části se věnuje popisu charakteristiky dospívajících dětí a osob ve středním věku s důrazem na význam a funkce rodinného prostředí. Součástí teoretické části je také charakteristika volného času, jeho funkcí a klasifikace. Samostatné kapitoly jsou, vzhledem k cílům práce, věnovány trávení volného času adolescenty a osobami středního věku. Poslední oblast, které se věnuje teoretická část, je životní styl. V rámci životního stylu se věnuje nejen jeho obecné charakteristice, ale především významu zdravého životního stylu s důrazem na pohybovou aktivitu. Empirická část obsahuje kvantitativní výzkumné šetření u rodičů žáků 8. a 9. tříd ZŠ v Brně. Cílem práce je pomocí metody dotazování charakterizovat trávení volného času rodičů a jejich dospívajících dětí a zjistit, zda jsou se současným stavem spokojeni a také proč. Důležitým úkolem práce je také nalézt souvislosti mezi jednotlivými charakteristikami respondentů a jejich přístupu ke zdravému životnímu stylu a trávení volného času v rodině. Obecným cílem je upozornit na současný pasivně-konzumní způsob života převládající v české společnosti a připomenout hodnotu a význam kvalitního trávení volného času.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the leisure time in family, especially in the context of a healthy lifestyle. It has partly a theoretical, partly an empirical character. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of adolescents and middle-aged people emphasizing the importance and functions of a family background. The theoretical part also provides characteristics of leisure time and its functions. The classification is included as well. With regard to the aims of the work, the individual chapters are focused on leisure time spent by adolescents and middle-aged people. Finally, the theoretical part deals with the issue of lifestyle. Not only it characterizes lifestyle generally, but it also concerns a healthy lifestyle with emphasis on physical activity. The empirical part contains a quantitative experimental survey carried out among the parents of pupils in their eighth and ninth grade of a primary school in Brno. The aim of the thesis is to characterize the way of spending leisure time by parents and their adolescent children and find out whether they are satisfied with the current situation and why. The important goal of the thesis is to find relations among respondents’ characteristics and their approach to healthy lifestyle and spending of a leisure time in families. The thesis generally aims to point out a passive-consumer lifestyle, which is predominant in Czech society. It seeks to remind the value and importance of a quality leisure time as well.
