A Link between a Floodplain Forest and the Areas of Drainage of Hydrogeological Structures in the Confluence Area of the Rivers Dyje, Jihlava and Svratka

Abstract:

Z pohledu hydrogeologa jsou lužní lesy území, kde dochází k drenáži podzemních vod, tedy území, v kterých se podzemní voda mění na vodu povrchovou. Současně jsou to oblasti, kde má ekosystém lužního lesa trvale zajištěnu dostupnost vody. Předkládaná práce je věnována Přírodní rezervaci Plačkův les a říčka Šatava.Pro hodnocení hydrologického režimu lokality byla zpracována data z monitorovacího vrt ČHMÚ VB0442 za období 2008-2017. Základní složkou hodnocené časové řady je sezónní složka, která se projevuje minimem v období červenec až září příslušného roku. U sezónní složky dat jde o dotaci podzemní vody ze „vzdálené“ infiltrační oblasti – voda infiltruje na východním okraji hydrogeologické pánve čelní karpatské předhlubně a na hydrogeologickém masívu hornin Českého masívu do sedimentů karpatu. Náhodná složka časové řady je tvořena časově omezeným zvyšováním a následným poklesem hladiny podzemní vody. Příčinnou náhodné složky dat je infiltrace srážek do hydrogeologického kolektoru v místě sledování hladiny podzemní vody. Vyhodnocení kumulativů hladin podzemní vody potvrdilo stabilizační funkci podzemní vody. V případě období s nižším úhrnem srážek, které následuje po srážkově bohatším období, vyrovnávají zásoby podzemní vody deficit ročních srážek.Původ podzemní vody z karpatských sedimentů potvrzuje i její chemismus. Velmi významně zastoupeným aniontem jsou sírany, takže vznikají složité hydrogeochemické typy vod Ca-Mg-HCO3-SO4 až Ca-Mg -SO4-HCO3. Voda je beznitrátová.Stanovení minimální hladiny podzemní vody je vhodným legislativním nástrojem pro eliminaci škod na terestrických na vodu vázaných ekosystémech v případě, že dochází z jakéhokoliv důvodu k čerpání podzemní vody nebo jinému snižování její hladiny. Pro ekosystém lužního lesa by měl zůstat zachován kontakt hladiny podzemní vody s nadložním izolátorem pro zajištění kapilárního vzlínání, hladina podzemní vody by měla zůstat napjatá.V práci je publikován koncept „Využití geologických struktur k zachycení disponibilní vody velkých průtoků - posílení stabilizace vodního režimu krajiny infiltrací povrchového odtoku při vysokých průtocích na tocích“. Převedení povrchového odtoku z koryt v době vysokých průtoků do nesaturovaných částí hydrogeologických kolektorů by vedlo k zvýšení objemu zásob podzemní vody.

Abstract:

From the point of view of a hydrogeologist, floodplain forests are the areas in which groundwater is drained, i.e. the areas in which groundwater “changes” to surface water. At the same time, these are the areas in which the ecosystem of floodplain forests has permanent water availability. The submitted paper is dedicated to the Nature Reserve Plačkův les a říčka Šatava (the Placek Forest and the Brook Satava).For the evaluation of the hydrological regime of the site, data from monitoring borehole ČHMÚ VB0442 over a period of 2008-2017 have been processed. The basic component of the evaluated time series is a seasonal component which has been indicated by a minimum in a period of July to September of the relevant year. The seasonal component of data shows the recharge of groundwater from a “remote” infiltration area – the water infiltrates on the eastern rim of the hydrogeological basin of the frontal Carpathian Foredeep and on the hydrogeological mass of rocks of the Bohemian Massif to the sediments of Karpatian. The random component of the time series is formed by the time-limited rising and subsequent lowering of the groundwater level. The cause of the random component of data is the infiltration of precipitation to a hydrogeological aquifer in the place of groundwater level monitoring. The evaluation of the cumulative values of groundwater levels has confirmed the stabilisation function of groundwater. In the case of the period with a lower precipitation total, following the period richer in precipitation, the groundwater reserves balance the deficit of annual precipitation.The origin of groundwater from the Karpatian sediments is also confirmed by its chemistry. Sulphates are a very significantly abundant anion, so complex hydrogeochemical types of water from Ca-Mg-HCO3-SO4 to Ca-Mg -SO4-HCO3 are formed. The water is nitrate-free.The determination of the minimum level of groundwater is an appropriate legislative tool to eliminate damages to the terrestrial water-bound ecosystems if groundwater is pumped for any reason or its level is decreased. For the ecosystem of floodplain forests, the contact between the groundwater level and the overlying aquiclude should remain preserved to ensure the capillary rise; the groundwater level should remain confined.The paper publishes the concept of “The Use of Geological Structures for Capturing Available Water of Large Flow Rates – An Enhancement of Stabilisation of the Water Regime of the Landscape by Infiltration of Surface Runoff at High Flow Rates in Watercourses”. The diversion of surface runoff from the stream channels to the unsaturated parts of hydrogeological aquifers in the time of high flow rates would lead to an increase in the volume of groundwater reserves.
