Geography of epidemics on examples from the Jihlava and Znojmo regions at the 19th century
Abstract:
Tato práce je zaměřena na výskyt a rozšíření cholery v Jihlavském a Znojemském kraji v letech 1831-1832 a 1866. Autor pracuje především s matrikami zemřelých. Získaná data převádí za pomoci tzv. heat maps do výsledných map, které jsou následně podrobeny interpretaci a analýze.
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on the occurrence and spread of cholera in the Jihlava and Znojmo regions in the years 1831-1832 and 1866. The author works mainly with the registers of the dead. The obtained data is converted with the heat maps into the resulting maps, which are then subjected to interpretation and analysis.
