Abstract:

Oratorium Návrat Tobiáše (Il ritorno di Tobia, Hob.XXI:1) je prvním Haydnovým oratoriem v pravém slova smyslu. Cílem bakalářské práce je na základě rešerší dostupných zdrojů vytvořit odborný hudebně-historický text, pojednávající o jeho scénickém nastudování na Hudebním festivalu Znojmo v roce 2022. Jedná se o novodobé nastudování tohoto díla hudebním tělesem Czech Ensemble Baroque pod vedením dirigenta Romana Válka s mezinárodní účastí sólistů. Dílčími cíli práce je komparace biblického příběhu jakožto literární předlohy a samotného oratoria, dále představit a popsat jednotlivé faktory dané inscenace ve Znojmě (dramaturgie, scénické a hudební nastudovaní), a to včetně renomovaných sólistů, jakými byli například Adam Plachetka, Dagmar Šašková, Lucie Kaňková, Shira Patchornik nebo Theodore Browne. Bude tak dosaženo za pomoci heuristické, hudebně-historické a komparativní metody.

Abstract:

The oratorio The Return of Tobias (Il ritorno di Tobia, Hob.XXI:1) is Haydn's first oratorio in the true sense of the word. The aim of the bachelor thesis is, based on the research of available sources, to create a professional music-historical text about its staging at the Znojmo Music Festival in 2022. It is a modern staging of this work by the Czech Ensemble Baroque under the direction of conductor Roman Valek with international participation of soloists. The sub-objectives of the work are to compare the biblical story as a literary model and the oratorio itself, to present and describe the individual factors of the production in Znojmo (dramaturgy, stage and musical staging), including renowned soloists such as Adam Plachetka, Dagmar Šašková, Lucie Kaňková, Shira Patchornik and Theodore Browne. This will be achieved using heuristic, music-historical and comparative methods.
