The climate of school - its comparison at lower grades of different schools

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zjištění a porovnání klimatu školy na třech typech základních škol (škola malotřídní, vesnická a sídlištní), respektive na jejich prvních stupních. Práce se zabývá porovnávání klimatu škol z pohledu tří skupin respondentů ? žáci, rodiče, učitelé. Teoretická část je zaměřena na definování základních pojmů ? klima, prostředí, atmosféra. Dále je v ní uvedena typologie školního klimatu, varianty klimatu školy, jeho determinanty, složky klimatu školy a popsání pozitivního klimatu školy. V praktické části zprvu popisujeme samostatný výzkum ? jeho problém, otázky a hypotézy. Dále se zaměřujeme na administraci výzkumu, popisu výzkumného vzorku a prostředí, ve kterém byl proveden. V závěru uvádíme výsledky výzkumu a ověření hypotéz.

Abstract:

An objective of my diploma thesis is to find out and compare the climates of three different types of primary schools (a one-class school, a village school and a town school), or at their lower grades. The thesis compares the climates at schools from the point of view of three different groups ? pupils, parents and teachers. The theoretical part focuses on defining the basic concepts ? a climate, an environment, an atmosphere. Further on there is shown a typology of school climates, varieties of school climates, its determinants, parts of a school climate and a description of a positive school climate. The practical part first describes the survey ? its problems, questions and hypothesis. Further on we focus on the administration of the survey, description of a sample and the environment, where the survey took place. Finally, we present the outcomes of the survey and the verification of the hypothesis.
