The diploma thesis deals with church music of the 20th century in the Šumperk region. In the theoretical part of the thesis there is a description of the Second Vatican Council; definitions of liturgical, religious and sacred music; used method of data processing and a brief history of sacred music since Biblical times up until the 20th century.
