Abstract:

Disertační práce zkoumá psychologický kapitál (PsyCap). Úvodní část shrnuje současné poznatky o PsyCap v kontextu práce, kde byl konstrukt vytvořen, i mimo něj. Na ni navazuje studie s cílem adaptace měřicího přístroje (CPC-12) do češtiny, jejímž výsledkem je revidovaná verze této metody (CPC-12R). Poslední studie si klade za cíl rozšířit stávající porozumění vztahům mezi PsyCap, vnímanou sociální oporou, pracovní angažovaností a životní spokojeností. Jelikož tato studie probíhala v období 2019–2021, zachycuje také roli PsyCap při zvládání nároků souvisejících s pandemií COVID-19.

Abstract:

The dissertation thesis examines psychological capital (PsyCap). The introductory part sums up contemporary knowledge of the construct in the context of work, where the construct was coined, and beyond. It is followed by a study with the aim of adapting a measuring instrument (CPC-12) to Czech, which resulted in a revised version of this method (CPC-12R). The last study aims to broaden the existing understanding of the relationships between PsyCap, perceived social support, work engagement and life satisfaction using longitudinal evidence. As this study took place in the period 2019-2021, the results also highlight the role of PsyCap in dealing with demands related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
