Vo svojej absolventskej práci Pohyby mysle rozoberám telesnosť v kontexte histórie a teórie filmu, avšak s presahom do iných umeleckých disciplín. Robím krátky prehľad výskumu kognitívnej lingvistiky Georga Lakoffa a Marka Johnsona, aby som čitateľa uviedol do problematiky tzv. telesných kognitívnych metafor. Abstract:
In my thesis, I analyze embodiment in the context of the history and theory of cinema, with short digressions into other artistic disciplines. I give a brief overview of George Lakoff and Mark Johnson’s research of cognitive linguistics in order to introduce the reader to the issue of so-called cognitive metaphors.
