A social network for effective communication between municipalities and towns in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem práce je vytvoření prototypu webové aplikace sociální sítě pro efektivní a jednoduchou komunikaci mezi pracovníky obecních úřadů obcí a měst v rámci České republiky. Webová aplikace sociální sítě umožňuje jednotlivým uživatelům sdílet informace, data, poznatky, legislativní otázky a další témata týkající se problematiky správy měst a obcí, a to zjednodušeně, přehledně a efektivně. Teoretická práce je zaměřena na definici základních pojmů, problematiku sociálních sítí, komunikaci měst a obcí v rámci České republiky a komunikaci mezi obyvateli a obecními úřady. Dále je popsaná a definovaná oblast User Experience Design. Vybrané metody jsou později použity při tvorbě prototypu.Hlavním záměrem praktické části je popsat a analyzovat základní požadavky pro aplikaci v podobě User Stories. Metody sběru základních požadavků je rozhovor se zainteresovanou osobou, sběr dat dotazníkem a hloubkový rozhovor s budoucími uživateli na obecním úřadě. V další fázi je návrh a tvorba interaktivního prototypu s pomocí poznatků a metod z oblasti User Experience Design. Výsledkem této práce je prototyp a jeho srovnání s jinými sociálními sítěmi. V závěru této bakalářské práce je návrh na další možné rozšíření prototypu aplikace.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to create a prototype of a social networking web application for effective and simple communication between the inhabitants and the employees of the municipal offices of municipalities and towns within the Czech Republic. The social networking web application enables individual users to share information, data, knowledge, legislative issues, and other topics related to urban and municipal governance in a simplified, clear and effective way. The theoretical work is focused on definition of basic concepts and issues of social networks, communication between municipalities and towns within the Czech Republic and communication between inhabitants and municipal authorities. The User Experience Design area is described and the methods defined. Selected methods are later used to create a prototype of this workThe main aim of the practical part is to describe and analyze the basic requirements for application in the form of User Stories. The methods of collecting the basic requirements are interviewing the interested person, collecting data by a questionnaire and in-depth interview with potential users at the municipal office. The next stage is the design and creation of an interactive prototype with the help of knowledge and methods from the field of User Experience Design. The result of this work is the prototype and comparison of differences with other social networks. At the end of this bachelor thesis there is a proposal for further possible extensions of the prototype application.
