Ethics and law in the new technologies of automotive industry

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá etickými a právními otázkami, které vyvstávají s příchodem technologiemi alternativních pohonů, konektivity a autonomního řízení v dopravě. Práce je rozdělena do šesti částí. V první částo jsou představeny jednotlivé technologie a je zde odhadnut jejich vliv na budoucnost automobilového trhu. V následujících dvou částích práce je zpracována současná a připravovaná legislativa, která se zabývá tématem nových technologií v České republice. Ve čtvrté části je pomocí komparace právních úprav srovnána česká právní úprava s úpravou Spojených států amerických. Pátá kapitola obsahuje pojednání o etických a právních překážkách, které brání zavedení plně autonomních systémů v ČR, na což navazuje poslední část, ve které autor vytvořil návrh právních norem, které by umožnily provoz těchto technologií v dopravě.

Abstract:

This master thesis studies ethical and legislative questions that arise with the new technologies in the automotive industry. The studied technologies are including alternative fuels, connected car technologies and a technology of autonomous driving. The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter presents all technologies and studies their impact on the future of the industry. The next two chapters present current legislative acts and the legislature which is being prepared at the end of the year 2018. The fourth chapter compares the legislative acts of the United States with the legislature of the Czech Republic. Both ethical and legal obstacles which prevent direct introduction of fully autonomous systems are presented in the fifth chapter. Based on the previous chapter, the last chapter contains a draft of legal norms which would enable direct introduction of the fully autonomous driving in the Czech Republic.
