Abstract:

Ve své teoretické části se chci zabývat fenoménem nového pojetí romantismu, jehož popis nalezneme např. v článku Michala Novotného The Emo-Romantic Turn z roku 2018. S tímto fenoménem se v posledních letech setkáváme zejména u nejmladší umělecké generace. Předmětem této práce bude zkoumání mé minulé i současné autorské tvorby v kontextu novoromantismu. Za podstatné považuji i vymezení pojmu samotných počátků romantismu, v době jeho zrodu i vrcholu. Pokusím se čtenáře uvést do problematiky a budu si klást otázku, zda se směr posouvá někam dále, nebo zda už je zcela vyčerpán a nenabízí žádné další cesty a možnosti výrazů a významů.

Abstract:

In the theoretical part I will focus on the phenomenon of the new way of understanding romanticism. We can find its description for example in Michal Novotný's 2018 article The Emo-Romantic Turn. During the past few years, we can find this phenomenon mainly in the works of the representatives of the youngest artist generation. The topic of this work will be the examination of my past and current author's work in the context of new romanticism. Defining romanticism in its beginnings as well as in its peak period is crucial for the work. After the analysis, I will try to answer the question whether the movement is still moving forward or if it has already peaked, also whether there are any ways of pushing the movement in terms of expressions and meanings.
