Early Childhood Education in the Context of School Readiness

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce zjišťuje míru školní připravenosti dětí v průběhu několika let. Ve své teoretické části je zaměřena na výchovu a její oblasti. V teoretické části najdeme definice pojmů školní zralost, školní připravenost a diagnostika školní zralosti. Tyto složky jsou podrobněji rozebrány na jednotlivé podsložky. V praktické části se zabývám analýzou zápisových archů v průběhu sedmi let. Archy obsahují klíčové oblasti posuzované v rámci školní připravenosti. Z jednotlivých výzkumných otázek vyplývá, že míra připravenosti v jednotlivých posuzovaných oblastech roste, dále také, že procento odkladů je vyšší u chlapců než u dívek. V oblasti chování se děti projevují ve stále stejných procentuálních hodnotách. Cílem této práce bylo zjistit míru školní připravenosti v posledních letech. Pomocí výzkumných otázek jsem došla k závěru, že míra připravenosti dětí v posledním roce vzrostla, ale v průběhu let se pohybuje ve stejném procentuálním rozmezí.

Abstract:

This work surveys children's school readiness in last few years. In its theoretical part, it focuses on education and its fields. There are definitions of the concept of school maturity, readiness and school maturity diagnostics in the theoretical part. These folders are closely broken down into individual subfolders. In the practical part, I deal with the analysis of enrollment sheets during seven years. The sheets contain key areas assessed in the context of school readiness. The individual research questions indicate that the readiness rates are increasing in each of the assessed fields, as well as that the percentage of deferrals is higher for boys than for girls. In the behavioral areas children are still showing up in the same percentages. The aim of the research was to determine the level of school readiness over the years. Using research questions, I concluded that children's readiness rates have risen in the last year, but have been in the same percentage range over the years.
