Tato diplomová práce uvádí pověstnou horu Blaník, s čekajícími rytíři uvnitř, do evropského kontextu legendárních hor s bojovníky. Dále předkládá historické souvislosti ovlivňující vývoj a chápání pověsti o blanických rytířích. Také odůvodňuje nacionální význam Blaníku a umělecký zájem o horu i pověsti. This thesis presents the famous mountain Blaník with waiting knights inside, the European context of legendary mountains with fighters. Furthermore, it presents historical context influencing the development and understanding of the legend of Blanice knights.
