Organic push-pull dyes based on triphenylamine for solar cells

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá přípravou a využitím push-pull chromoforů na bázi trifenylaminu jako barviv pro solární články. V literární rešerši je pojednáno o nalezených typech barviv a jejich účinnosti v solárních článcích, experimentální práce se zaměřuje na přípravu třech vybraných barviv nesoucí na periferii centrálního trifenylamin donoru jeden, dva nebo tři kyanakrylové akceptory/kotvící skupiny. Tyto sloučeniny byly připraveny ve dvoukrokové syntéze, struktura a čistota byla ověřena pomocí bodu tání, hmotnostní spektrometrie, hmotnostní spektrometrie ve vysokém rozlišení a rovněž 1H a 13C NMR spektroskopií. Základní optické vlastnosti cílových barviv byly studovány pomocí UV-Vis absorpčních spekter a byly vyvozeny vztahy typu struktura-vlastnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor work focuses on the synthesis and utilization of triphenylamine-derived push pull chromophores as sensitizers for solar cells. Such dyes and their performance in solar cells is discussed in the theoretical part, whereas the experimental part focuses on the preparation of three selected chromophores bearing one, two or three peripheral cyanoacrylic acceptor(s)/anchoring group(s) attached to the central triphenylamino donor. These compounds were prepared in a two-step reaction sequence; their structure and purity have been verified by melting point, HR-MALDI-MS, 1H and 13C NMR. The optical properties were studied by UV-Vis spectra, which allowed to elucidate fundamental structure-property relationships.
