In my bachelor thesis, Paterson: The Poetics of the Everyday Life, I present a formal analysis of the film Paterson, by the American independent director Jim Jarmusch. I first introduce the film itself, William Carlos Williams' poetry collection as the inspiration for the movie, and the director's approach to the representation of similar material.
