Surface protection of materials in environment with chemical polutants

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce jsou možnosti povrchových úprav konstrukčních materiálů vystavených prostředí se zvýšeným chemickým znečištěním. Je zpracována jako rešerše popisující problematiku koroze a ochrany proti korozi. V první části jsou popsány obecné principy koroze, mechanismus chemické a elektrochemické koroze. Jsou zde vysvětleny jednotlivé druhy korozního napadení a jejich charakteristika. V další části jsou uvedeny možnosti ochrany proti korozi, počínaje úpravami korozního prostředí, volbou vhodného materiálu a případnými povrchovými povlaky konstrukčních celků. V závěru jsou uvedeny příklady řešení korozních problémů v chemickém průmyslu.

Abstract:

The main theme of this bachelor thesis are possibilities of surface modification of metal materials which are exposed to the environment with high content of chemically polluting substances. This document has been worked as the search report describing problems of corrosion and protection against corrosion. The first part describes the principes, mechanism of the chemical and electrochemical corrosion. There are explained individual sorts of corrosive attack and their characteristics. The next parts of this study is about possibilities of protection against corrosion, starting with the adjustments of corrosive environment, selection of material and surface modification. Closing part describes the example of solutions of corrosive problems in chemical industry.
