Bakalářská práce se zabývá pohledem veřejnosti na vězeňskou službu v České republice. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou část. V rámci teoretické části je vymezena samotná organizace Vězeňské služby České republiky, základní pojmy a hlavní historické aspekty pojící se s touto složkou. The bachelor's thesis deals with the public's view of the prison service in the Czech Repub-lic. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part defines the organization of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic, the basic concepts and the main historical aspects associated with this unit.
