Receivables portfolio valuation for cession

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá oceněním portfolia pohledávek za fyzickými osobami pro potřeby cese. Cílem práce je představit metodologii oceňovacího modelu a na ilustrovat ho na případové studii. V první části práce je popsán trh vymáhání pohledávek, literatura věnující se oceňování pohledávek, právním rámcem a jeho změnami. V druhé je popis metodologie oceňovacího modelu, který je potom ve třetí části ilustrován na modelovém příkladu, kdy je oceněno portfolio pohledávek a jeho nákup posouzen jako investice z pohledu inkasní agentury.

Abstract:

The master thesis deals with valuation of portfolio of receivables. The goal of this thesis is to present the methodology of valuation and illustrate it on a case study. The first part of the paper describes collection business, literature that deals with valuation of receivables, legal framework and its recent changes. The second part deals with the methodology of valuation model, which is illustrated in the third part where the portfolio of receivables is valuated and the cession is assessed as an investment from the point of view of collection agency as a potential buyer.
