Puppets as the instrument of education and foreign language teaching

Abstract:

The diploma thesis „Les marionnettes comme un outil de l'éducation et de l'enseignement des langues étrangères“ deals with puppets, the word’s definition, types of the puppets, their history and present. The aim of the thesis is to show the possibilities of using the puppets in education in the kindergartens and in the language teaching, especially French language teaching. The theoretical part starts with the definition and etymology of the word puppet and it continues with the types of the puppets and their convenience or inconvenience for the communication with children. The second chapter deals with the history of the puppets and puppetry in France and in the Czech Republic and with the character of Kašpárek and Guignol. The third chapter concentrates on the present state of the puppet theater and its three main courses – the theatre, teaching and education and therapy. The lesson plans are divided into two main parts – the puppet in the kindergarten in France and the puppet in the French language teaching in the Czech Republic. We propose 11 lesson plans all together.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Les marionnettes comme un outil de l'éducation et de l'enseignement des langues étrangères“ se zabývá loutkami, jejich definicí, druhy, historií i současností. Cílem této práce je ukázat možnosti využití loutky ve vzdělávání v mateřských školách a ve výuce cizích jazyků, v našem případě francouzštiny. V teoretické části se zabýváme definicí slova loutka, jeho původem a typy loutek s bližším určením, které jsou vhodné ke komunikaci s dětmi a které nikoliv. V druhé kapitole pak navážeme historií loutek a loutkářství jak u nás, tak ve Francii. Tato kapitola se zároveň věnuje postavě Kašpárka a Guignola. Ve třetí kapitole se přesouváme do současnosti a zabýváme se třemi směry, kterými se loutka vydala – divadlem, vzděláváním a výchovou a terapií. Metodické listy jsou rozděleny na dvě části – loutka v mateřské škole ve Francii a loutka ve výuce francouzského jazyka v České republice. Dohromady zahrnuje 11 metodických listů.
