Japanese tanka in Finnish Literature from Tuomas Anhava up to the present days
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem japonské básnické formy tanka na finskou literaturu. Práce se také věnuje jejímu překladu finským spisovatelem Tuomasem Anhavou v básnické sbírce "Täällä kaukana". Jsou tu představeny problémy, kterým čelil při překladu tanky a i jak se mohl k překladu této básnické formy dostat. Následně se práce zabývá současnými finskými autory píšící poezii tanka.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis presents the influence of Japanese poetic form tanka on Finnish literature. Thesis also looks into tanka's translations by the Finnish author Tuomas Anhava in his collection of poems "Täällä kaukana". Here are introduced problems Anhava dealt with while translating tanka and also what could have influenced him into translating this poetic form. Simultaneously, thesis features contemporary …more
