Comparison of Corruption in the Czech Republic and V4-countries

Abstract:

V první části diplomové práce jsou uvedena teoretická východiska problematiky korupce. Druhá část diplomové práce (praktická) obsahuje analýzu vývoje korupce v zemích Visegrádské čtyřky a následně se zabývá komparaci korupce ČR a V4, což je cílem diplomové práce. Třetí část diplomové práce zkoumá, v jaké míře index vnímání korupce ovlivňuje hrubý domácí produkt na obyvatele. Data CPI a HDP byla získána z Transparency International (TI) a Organizace pro hospodářskou spolupráci a rozvoj (OECD). Diplomová práce obsahuje shrnutí a závěr provedeného výzkumu, dále předkládá doporučení autora, jak předcházet a redukovat korupci v jednotlivých zemích.

Abstract:

The first part of the diploma thesis contains theoretical bases of corruption issues. The second (practical) part of the thesis contains an analysis of the development of corruption in the Visegrad Four countries and then deals with the comparison of corruption in the Czech Republic and V4, which is the aim of the thesis. The third part of the thesis examines the extent to which the corruption perception index affects gross domestic product per capita. The CPI and GDP data were obtained from Transparency International (TI) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The diploma thesis contains a summary and conclusion of the research carried out and presents the author's recommendations as to how to prevent and reduce corruption in various countries.
