The paper refers to e-book readers and its users. It seeks to highlight the everyday strategies of uses and domestication of this access technology. Using in-depth interviews with selected individuals, it reveals motivations to use e-readers and shows the ways of domestication of this relatively new medium. Práca sa zaoberá čítačkami elektronických kníh a jej užívateľmi. Snaží sa poukázať na každodenné spôsoby užívania a domestikácie tejto prístupovej technológie. Pomocou hĺbkových rozhovorov s vybranými jednotlivcami odhaľuje, aká je motivácia využívať čítačky a ako sa udomácňuje toto relatívne nové médium.
