Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem boje Afroameričanů za občanská práva mezi lety 1950 a 1980. Cílem této práce je zmapovat a vysvětlit průběh a výsledky boje za občanská práva a rovnost na příkladu tří nejvýznamnějších ideologických skupin té doby: Civil Rights movement, Black nationalism a Black Power movement. This thesis deals with the development of the African American struggle for civil rights and equality from 1950s to 1980. The goal of this thesis is to describe and explicate the development and achievements of the struggle by analyzing three most significant ideological approaches at that time: The civil Rights movement, Black nationalism and The Black Power movement.
