EAN syndrome prevention in the Litvínov

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem špatného zacházení se seniory v Litvínově a prevencí syndromu EAN. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část definuje problematiku EAN (elder abuse and neglect), ve které objasňuje základní pojmy, popisuje jeho druhy, formy a rizikové faktory, které ovlivňují vznik syndromu EAN. Zaměřuje se na stáří a stárnutí, jaký má negativní dopad na stáří, jaké jsou důsledky stárnutí a stáří. Nechybí problematika mezigeneračního soužití a pojem ageismus související s oblastí špatného zacházení se seniory. Součástí teoretické části je i uvedení možností řešení syndromu EAN. Praktická část se orientuje na zjištění úrovně znalostí, přístupů, komunikace a prevence EAN pomocí standardizovaného dotazníku. Pro zjištění míry znalostí byl použit dotazník jako základní technika průzkumu v bakalářské práci. Analýza a interpretace získaných dat poskytuje informace o úrovni informovanosti veřejnosti a seniorů v oblasti týrání a zneužívání, o tom zda existuje týrání seniorů žijících v různých domovech pro seniory v Litvínově. Cílem práce je shrnout a popsat dostupné informace o syndromu špatného zacházení se starými lidmi, jeho výskytem, charakteristikou, rizikovými faktory, možnostmi řešení a prevence. Zmapovat informovanost veřejnosti a seniorů v oblasti týrání a zneužívání, zda dochází k týrání a zneužívání v domovech pro seniory v Litvínově.

Abstract:

Theme of my final paper is wrong handling with seniors and preventing against syndrom EAN in city Litvínov. My work is divided into teoretical and practice part. Teoretical part defines problems of EAN (elder abuse and neglect) in which clarifies basic concepts, describes his species, forms and risk factors, which influens syndrom EAN. It focuse on old age and aging, how he has negative impact on old age and which consequence has aging and old age. Also there are here problematics of intergenerational cohabitaion and concept of Ageism with areas wrong handling seniors. The constituent part of teoretical part is introduction options for syndorm EAN. Practical part is focuse on find out level of knowledge, accesses, communications a preventing against EAN with questionnaire. To determine the level of knowledge was used questionnaire as basic technics in my work. Analysis and interpretation gained data provides informations about level of awareness public and seniors in area of abuse and violence and also if this existed in houses of seniors in Litvínov. The target of my final work is summarize and describe available informations about syndrom of worong handling seniors, his occurence, characteristics, risk factors, options of solution and preventing. Next to chart level of awareness public and seniors in area of buse and violence and also if this existed in houses of seniors in Litvínov.
