Design of perioperative documentation for students of perioperative care and its validation in practice

Abstract:

Diplomová práce v teoretické části popisuje vzdělávání v oblasti perioperační péče a následně je řešena oblast zdravotnické dokumentace pro perioperační sestry, především její funkce, náležitosti, forma, využití a možnosti v klinické praxi. Poté je detailněji popsána dokumentace na operačním sále. Na základě dostupných informací byl v rámci výzkumné části připraven návrh perioperačního dokumentu pro studenty perioperační péče, pro který byla následně dotazníkovým šetřením získána zpětná vazba. Data byla zpracována a na základě odpovědí studentek a sester v klinické praxi byl původní návrh dokumentu upraven. Následně bylo ověřeno, že realizovaný návrh perioperačního dokumentu je vhodný pro přípravu a potřeby studentek v klinické praxi. Perioperační záznam je vhodný pro studentky v případě vykonávání odborné praxe a sběru informací o pacientovi a perioperační péči.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the thesis describes the education in the field of perioperative care and then the area of medical documentation for perioperative nurses is addressed, especially its functions, requirements, form, use and possibilities in clinical practice. Then documentation in the operating room is described in detail. Based on the available information, a draft perioperative document for perioperative nursing students was prepared in the research part, for which feedback was subsequently obtained by questionnaire survey. The data was processed, and the original draft perioperative document was modified based on the responses of the clinical practice nurses and students. Subsequently, it was verified that the implemented draft perioperative document was appropriate for the training and needs of the nursing students in clinical practice. The perioperative record is suitable for students in the case of professional practice and collecting information about the patient and perioperative care.
