Methodology of railway accident investigation

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá podrobným rozborem kriminalistické metodiky nehod na železnicích. Na úvod této práce byla nastíněna nehoda, kde chyběly prvky moderního zabezpečovacího zařízení. Na základě téhle nehody se začalo více řešit a uvažovat o užívání bezpečnostních prvků ETCS. Celá tato práce je provázána metodikou vyšetřování nehod na železnici. Teoretická část obsahuje popis postupu vyšetřování, ohledání místa činu a následná dokumentace. Praktické část se zaměřuje na souběh dvou nehod, ve kterých je popsán a vysvětlen průběh postupu vyšetřování na železnici.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis deals with a detailed analysis of the criminalistic accident methodology on railways. At the outset of this work was outlined an accident where elements of modern safety equipment were missing. Based on this accident, the use of ETCS safety features has become more widely addressed and considered. All this work is intertwined with the methodology of investigating rail accidents. The theoretical part contains a description of the procedure of the investigation, the examination of the crime scene and the subsequent documentation. The practical part focuses on the confluence of two accidents in which the progress of the railway investigation is described and explained.
