Case study of the Oskar Nedbal Theatre Tábor

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje případové studii o Divadle Oskara Nedbala v Táboře. Hlavním cílem je analyzovat a vyhodnotit výsledky provozu divadla v letech 2016 až 2019. Teoretická část se zabývá historií českých divadel, mapuje divadelní síť v České republice, popisuje na jejich typologii, zaměřuje se na možnosti financování a rozpočtový proces. Praktická část detailně analyzuje Zprávy o činnosti a hospodaření, především v oblasti personalistiky, oprav a rekonstrukcí, dramaturgie, návštěvnosti, marketingu, financování a hospodaření divadla. Analýza je dále doplněna o informace získané z rozhovorů s hlavními zástupci divadla a se zástupcem zřizovatele.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with a case study of the Oskar Nedbal Theater Tábor. The main goal is to analyse and evaluate the operating results of the theatre in the years from 2016 to 2019. The theoretical part deals with the history of Czech theatres, maps the theatre network in the Czech Republic, describes their typology, focuses on funding options and the budget process. The practical part analyses in detail Annual Reports, especially in the field of human resources, repairs and reconstructions, dramaturgy, attendance, marketing, financing and management of the theatre. The analysis is further supplemented by information obtained from interviews with the main representatives of the theatre and the representative of the founder.
