The theme of this bachelor thesis is a short animation inspired by the book written by the Slovak author Monika Kompaníková. The first theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to life and legacy of the author together with analysis of her novel "Piata loď", by which’s story was the animation inspired. Témou bakalárskej práce je krátka animácia na motív knihy slovenskej spisovateľky Moniky Kompaníkovej. Prvá časť teoretickej práce je venovaná životu a dielu spisovateľky ako aj rozboru jej románu Piata loď, ktorého ústredná zápletka sa stala inšpiráciou k vytvoreniu animácie.
