Anna Gavalda: Ensemble, c'est tout (Comparative analysis of literary work and its cinema adaptation)

Abstract:

Diploma thesis "Anna Gavalda: Ensemble, c'est tout (Comparative analysis of literary work and its cinema adaptation)" deals with the problematics of relation between literature and film and of complexity of the process of the filmed novel, as well as with the main topics of the novel "Ensemble, c'est tout" of the contemporary French writer Anna Gavalda and its cinema adaptation directed by French director Claude Berri. Through the so-called literary method are analysed thematic shifts that occur during the process of re-writing the novel into the film. We focus at the same time on the origin and the reasons of these shifts.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca „Anna Gavalda: Ensemble, c'est tout (Analyse comparative de l'œuvre littéraire et de son adaptation cinématographique)“ pojednává o problematike vzťahu literatúry a filmu a o komplexnosti postupov pri prepise literárneho diela do jeho filmovej podoby. Táto práca sa zaoberá hlavnými témami románu súčasnej francúzskej autorky Anny Gavaldy „Ensemble, c'est tout“ a jeho filmového prepisu, ktorý vznikol pod taktovkou francúzskeho režiséra Clauda Berriho. Za pomoci tzv. literárnej metódy sú analyzované tématické posuny, ku ktorým došlo pri prepise románu do jeho filmovej podoby, rovnako sa však zameriavame aj na spôsob vzniku a príčinu týchto posunov.
