SWOT analysis of the Early defibrilation in the Ústí region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku projektu Časná defibrilace v Ústeckém kraji. Cílem práce bylo zpracovat SWOT analýzu zmíněného projektu, a tím přispět ke zvýšení efektivity časné defibrilace. V teoretické části diplomové práce jsme se zaměřili na organizační strukturu systému zdravotnické záchranné služby ČR a blíže byla specifikována Zdravotnická záchranná služba Ústeckého kraje, p. o. Pro pochopení a komplexnost práce bylo důležité seznámení s problematikou náhlé zástavy oběhu a její řešení v systému přednemocniční neodkladné péče. Projekt Časná defibrilace se zabývá dostupností kvalitní základní neodkladné resuscitace včetně časné defibrilace za pomoci First Responderů. Empirická část práce byla zaměřena na vlastní výzkum statistických dat. Zjištěné výsledky byly ověřovány pomocí statistických metod t-testu a chí-kvadrát testu nezávislosti. Výsledný soubor dat prokázal, že dispečeři ve většině událostí správně rozpoznali NZO a včas aktivovali záchranný řetězec. Dále bylo zjištěno, že většina všech sekundárně přeživších pacientů bylo FR defibrilováno a tím se potvrdilo racionální rozmístění dostupnosti FR v Ústeckém kraji. Tato zjištění tvoří část silných stránek ve SWOT analýze projektu Časná defibrilace v Ústeckém kraji. Dalšími potvrzenými silnými stránkami projektu je dlouhodobá spolupráce FR a správně nastavený standard v aktivaci FR. Nalezené příležitosti pomohou zvýšit efektivnost silných stránek, posílit slabé stránky a připravit se na možné hrozby. V rámci strategických cílů ve SWOT analýze, byl vytvořen vlastní návrh Protokolu k aktivaci FR, který může vést ke zkvalitnění sběru důležitých statistických dat. Výsledky diplomové práce mohou být využity pro zlepšení projektu Časná defibrilace v Ústeckém kraji.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on problems of project Early defibrillation in Ústecký region. The aim of the thesis was to make SWOT analysis of mentioned project and by this to contribute to efficiency increase of early defibrillation. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we focused on the organisational structure of emergency medical services system in the Czech Republic and the Emergency medical service in Ústecký region was closely specified. For understanding and complexity of thesis, it was important to get acquainted with the issue of sudden circulatory failure and its solution in pre-hospital emergency care. Project Early defibrillation deals with the accessibility of quality basic emergency resuscitation including early defibrillation with the aid of First Responders. The empiric part was focused on research of statistic data. The discovered results were verified by t-test statistic method and chi square test. The final data file proved that controllers in majority of incidents correctly recognized sudden circulatory failure and in time activated chain of survival. Next it was found out that majority of all secondarily survived patients was FR defibrillated which confirmed the rational position of FR accessibility in Ústecký region. These findings create part of strong points in SWOT analysis of project Early defibrillation in Ústecký region. Another confirmed strong points of project are the long-term cooperation of FR and correctly set norm in FR activation. Discovered opportunities will help increase efficiency of strong points, strengthen weak points and prepare for possible threats. Within the strategic aims in SWOT analysis, the original proposition for Protocol of FR activation was created. This can lead to improving of important statistic data collection. The results of thesis can be used for improvement of project Early defibrillation in Ústecký region.
