This bachelor´s thesis deals with the Leonese dialect and its current use. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part introduces us the basics of sociolinguistic, dialectology, types of language forms and characteristic signs of Leonese dialect. Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá leónskym dialektom a jeho súčasným použitím. Je rozdelená na dve časti: teoretickú a praktickú. Prvá časť nás oboznamuje so základmi sociolingvistiky, dialektológie, typmi jazykových útvarov a charakteristickými znakmi leónskeho dialektu.
