Příčiny trvajicího násilí ve východním Kongu (DRC)

Abstract:
Diplomová práce projednává příčiny dlouhotrvajícího násilí ve východním Kongu. Jako teoretický rámec je využit model Colliera a Hoefflerové zaměřující se na vznik občanských válek. Z modelu vyplývá, že hlavní příčinou je prokletí zdrojů, doplněné o několik dalších faktorů, jako jsou ekonomické příčiny, historie a křivda. Abstract:
The diploma thesis discusses the causes of long-lasting violence in eastern Congo. Collier and Hoeffler's model focusing on the emergence of civil wars is used as a theoretical framework. The model suggests that the main cause is the resource curse, supplemented by several other factors such as economic causes, history, and grievance.
