Abstract:

Táto práca sa zaoberá predikovaním časových radov za využitia modelov strojového učenia na dátach týkajúcich sa dopravných nehôd, zranení a celkových škôd spôsobených týmito nehodami v Českej republike. Metodológia zahŕňa komplexný súbor modelov, ktorý obsahuje štatistické modely, modely učenia s učiteľom a neurónové siete. Práca podrobne popisuje teoretické princípy a praktickú implementáciu týchto algoritmov. Pri príprave dát pre tieto modely boli využité techniky predspracovania dát. Okrem toho sa práca zameriava na spôsoby optimalizácie hyperparametrov za účelom zvýšenia presnosti predikcie vybraných modelov. Efektívnosť navrhnutých modelov je hodnotená pomocou rôznych výkonnostných metrík. Medzi implementovanými modelmi vynikol model Prophet, ktorý demonštroval výnimočne výkonnú predikciu.

Abstract:

This thesis explores time series forecasting through the application of machine learning models on data related to car accidents, injuries, and total damages incurred from these incidents in the Czech Republic. The methodology includes a comprehensive suite of models, incorporating statistical, supervised learning, and neural network approaches. The thesis meticulously details both the theoretical principles and practical implementations of these algorithms. A variety of data preprocessing techniques were employed to prepare the data for the predictive models. Additionally, hyperparameter tuning processes were conducted to refine selected models' predictive accuracy in time series forecasting. The effectiveness of the proposed models was evaluated using various performance metrics. Among the evaluated models, Prophet stood out as a particularly high-performing tool, demonstrating exceptional forecasting capabilities.
