Abstract:

Eukleidovké a neusis konstrukce jsou dva typy geometrických konstrukčních metod známých od dob antiky. Eukleidovské konstrukce využívají idealizovaného pravítka a kružítka, jež umožňují rýsovat přímky a kružnice a manipulovat s nimi pouze s principem shodnosti. Konstrukce neusis navíc přidávají na pravítko dvě značky, a tím posouvají konstrukční možnosti. Cílem této bakalářské práce je ukázat, co lze sestrojit tzv. eukleidovsky a jaká rozšíření navíc nabízejí konstrukce neusis.

Abstract:

Euclidean and neusis constructions are two types of geometric construction methods known since antiquity. Euclidean constructions use an idealized straightedge and compass to draw straight lines and circles and manipulate them using the principle of conformity. Neusis constructions further add two marks on the straightedge, pushing forward the construction possibilities. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to show what can be constructed using Euclidean constructions and what more can be achieved using neusis constructions.
