Palaentomology of the selected sites of the northern part of the Beskovice Basin aimed at the order Miomoptera

Abstract:

K paleoentomologickým výzkumům bylo vybráno 8 lokalit spodnopermského stáří, ze kterých se ukázaly vhodné pouze lokality Zboněk a Obora. Během let 2004-2006 byly identifikovány původně popsané profily, které byly podrobeny intenzivnímu výzkumu. První část práce přináší shrnutí výzkumů v oblasti severní části boskovické brázdy a shrnutí výzkumů řádu Miomoptera v celosvětovém kontextu. Druhá část je jednak revizí nálezů zástupců řádu Miomoptera popsaných původně v roce 1963 J. Kukalovou, jednak dalším popisem nepublikovaných jedinců z původních sběrů Kukalové a popisem nových nálezů autora práce. Při revizi a zpracování nového materiálu z lokality Obora bylo navrženo synonymizování jedinců čeledi Palaeomanteidae s rody Palaeomantis a Miomatoneura a vyčlenění druhů Palaeomantis schmidti, P. minutum, P. peruni, P. arta, P. latum, P. cf. latum, P. sinosum, P. sp., Miomatoneura frigida, M. cf. frigida, M. candida, M. insolida, M. sp. Dále byl vyčleněn nový rod Typ 1 a nové druhy P. sp. 1, P. sp. 2. U 4 jedinců došlo k upřesnění diagnózy (Permonia permoni, Permodelopterum obscurum, P. sp., Perunopterum mirum). Bylo navrženo přeřazení 7 jedinců původně řazených k Miomoptera do řádu Psocoptera. Na základě 4 jedinců označených Typ 2 , Typ 3 a Typ 4 byla navržena nová čeleď řádu Psocoptera. Jeden jedinec byl zařazen do čeledi Permopsociidae. Dva jedinci byli zařazeni jako Psocoptera incertae sedis. Nově byli vyčleněni 2 je-dinci řádu Diaphanopterodea s druhy Permonikia permoniki a Typ 6 a 1 jedinec z řádu Protorthoptera druhu Depressopterum sp. Celkem 5 jedinců bylo zařazeno jako Pterygota incertae sedis. Z lokality Zboněk byli 2 jedinci určeni jako Bllataria incertae sedis. Celkem je v práci popsáno 46 jedinců ze dvou lokalit. Součástí příloh práce jsou i dva články na kterých se podílel autor práce. Jedná se o příspě-vek lokality Obora k paleogeografii boskovické brázdy s popisem prvního nálezu temnospondylního obojživelníka v boskovické brázdě. Nové nálezy hmyzu hodnotí článek o nových zástupcích čeledi Martynoviidae z Obory, kdy byly popsány nové taxony Boskovicia celtai Dostál & Prokop, 2009 a Moravoptera hladilovae Dostál & Prokop, 2009.

Abstract:

Eight localities of the Lower Permian age were chosen for the paleoentomological research, but only Obora and Zboněk sites proved to be suitable for the research itself. The previously described profiles were identified, and during 2004-2006 they became the subject of intensive research. The first part of the thesis presents a summary of the research in the northern part of the Boskovice basin area and a summary of research of the order Miomoptera in a worldwide context. The second part represents a revision of the Miomoptera species described by J. Kukalová in 1963, descriptions of other still unpublished specimens from her original material, together with the descriptions of author´s own new findings from the Obora and Zboněk sites. Based on these studies it was proposed to synonymize the known genera Palaeomantis and Miomatoneura with the family Palaeomanteidae, and to distinguish the species Palaeomantis schmidti, P. minutum, P. peruni, P. arta, P. latum, P. cf. latum, P. sinosum, P. sp., Miomatoneura frigida, M. cf. frigida, M. candida, M.insolida, M. sp. Moreover, a new genus Typ 1, and new species P. sp. 1, P. sp. 2 were described. Diagnoses of 4 specimens (Permonia permoni, Permodelopterum obscurum, P. sp., Perunopterum mirum) were specified. It was proposed to transfer 7 specimens originally described as Miomoptera to the order Psocoptera. Definition of a new family was proposed on the basis of 4 specimens described as Typ 2 , Typ 3 a Typ 4. One specimen was included in the family Permopsociidae. Two specimens were identified as Psocoptera incertae sedis. There were determined two species, namely Permonikia permoniki and Typ 6, belonging into the order Diaphanopterodea. One specimen belongs to the species Depressopterum sp. from the order Protorthoptera. Five specimens were described as Pterygota incertae sedis. Two specimens from the Zboněk site were identified as Bllataria incertae sedis. In total, 46 specimens from 2 localities are described in the thesis. Into the thesis supplements there are inserted two articles with the thesis author as the co-author. The first one deals with the find of a zatrachyiidid amphibian specimen at the Obora locality, and interprets the contribution of this first find from the Boskovice basin to its paleogeography. The second article describes new representants of the family Martynoviidae from the Obora site, namely the new taxa Boskovicia celtai Dostál & Prokop, 2009 and Moravoptera hladilovae Dostál & Prokop, 2009.
